Extend the programme of free and subsidised school holiday activities for children

Provide more free and subsidised outdoor and indoor activities for children and families during school holidays, including workshops, bootcamps and taster sessions.

Why the contribution is important

Children's activities, such as sports and music can be a big expense for families. Many families can't afford them at all and so those children miss out on opportunities for valuable learning, enjoyment and development of social skills that extra-curricular activities bring.

Everything is so expensive these days. It's hard to keep children occupied and entertained cheaply. I'd support this.

There's hardly anything to do for free in the holidays, especially if it's raining. I find it really hard to keep my kids off screens. I'd like more outdoor activities for them to get involved with.
